Founded by the USGBC South Florida Chapter, a growing number of USGBC communities have embraced the Green Veterans initiative across the USA.  Each of these communities are nonprofit (501[c][3]) organizations governed entirely by volunteers who serve without recompense. Their members are engaged in numerous educational and outreach activities tied to sustainability and green buildings, making a real difference in their communities.
